They will all want to tell your story, thinking they know you. Many will tell it. Most of it will be false and full of gossip. You will be judged based on the stories going around. Those telling others will have people think they did the sleuthing. But only you and maybe a few people will know who you really are. Even the technophobes will talk and many will even claim to have a dossier on you. When asked to, they will give a preamble on you before an audience. The story might be mellifluous yet some of it will have sweat running in rivulets down your back. Those that know you will tell you to ignore what people say. But the truth is, some of these stories will ultimately crush you in the end. Maybe even taint your reputation. And to say the least, how are you supposed to ignore such a thing? How do you actually have life
moving on like nothing is happening?
Hehe, I mean it’s amazing how the world throws curve balls at you without even considering how your life will turn out. Then it sits back and watches you struggle your way out of it. And trust me your story will be told inexorably. Some will even ought to vilify you despite not knowing or having seen you in person. These contrived stories will have you pining and depressed maybe. But one thing I’d say, don’t wait till it happens and start acclimatizing then. It might be too late. People can be callous you know and won’t even care about you.
In as much as it is good to be capricious, I’d advise you to do it moderately. Or better yet, start telling your story on your own. Do it now. Maybe fast.
