1. Put things back where they belong
If you are constantly putting everything back to where they belong or ‘finding a home’ for everything that you have, you will be more organized and be able to save so much time.
2. Stay Hydrated – Drink more water
Water is a very essential component for our bodies. It helps us to stay healthy.
3. Stop Listening to your Amygdala
Amygdala is a tiny almond-shaped mass of grey matter in the centre of your brain that tries to keep you safe all the time. Its pretty much your ‘worry button’. Don’t let the fear inside you dictate your decisions. Step out of your comfort zone. Be courageous and start taking actions to positively change your life.
4. Build Mental Toughness
Other people’s opinion about you is none of your business. We don’t need to know what other people are saying about us that are negative. They can keep that. Its important to remember that not everything has to be taken personal.
5. Be a Good Listener
Listen for the sake of listening and not responding. Sometimes people feel that they are saying something important and that they only want to be heard.
6. Keep a Gratitude Journal
There are so many things we can be thankful for hence we should always put them down. Example you can write 3 things that you are thankful for, 3 things that you are praying for and 1 thing that God is teaching you today.
7. Have a Time Scheduled ‘Your Alone Time’
We should disconnect from any type of technology or social media in a certain time even if its only for 30 minutes. This helps us to get in touch with our realities and focus on who we truly are.
8. Go to Sleep Early…Wake up earlier
This helps the body to be active and function well.
9. Always Be Positive
You get to decide how you view things. Do you see if the cup is half empty or half full. Choose to see the positive side of everything.
10. Plan your Workouts
This will help you stay focused and accountable
11. Spend more time with your family
The older we get, the older our family members become too. So never take that time for granted. Spend as much time with them as you can.
12. Don’t Wait till Tomorrow what you can Do Today
If you can do something today then do not procrastinate, just do it today. You don’t know what tomorrow is going to look like, you don’t know if something might come up tomorrow hence preventing you from doing the thing you Intended to do. So what you can do today do it. This will help you stay productive and on top of things.
13. Move for at least 30 minutes
Don’t just spend a lot of your time sitting. Try to maximize it by moving around too. Walk.
14. Give More
Be more generous by giving more and assisting people in different ways.
15. Self Reflect
Always think about how you are doing and what is your purpose in this world. Are you being a good person because you want people to see you that you are a good person?
16. Set Consistent Goals Everyday
Goals don’t happen overnight. Goals happen when you decide to put in the work every single day. Choose to keep going even when its hard. You need to be committed and connected to your goals.
17. Debt Free is the Way to Be
Try to get out of a debt as fast as possible if you are in one. If you aren’t into debt then avoid getting involved in one if you can. Better follow the uncomfortable way for sometimes than following the route that will require you to take a debt.
18. Food is Fuel
Learn about your relationship with food. What are the things you love eating and what are the things your body needs to stay healthy. Have a balance so that you are able to enjoy life as well as live healthy.
19. Read More Books ❤
Reading more books enables you get out of your thoughts and get to dive into someone else’s thoughts. Even if you are no longer in school books keep you a life long learner.
20. Write down Things. ❤❤
Write down lists of everything in your life. It helps you stay focused. Keep Writing!
