They talked and talked about it. They criticised, they hated, they made fun of it, but that was one of the pull factors that made me push hard in a quest to break the so called “unbreakable walls” they created in their thoughts. They treated me as faux pas, saw me as trash, that I could hardly do anything of importance.
They thought that I would forsake my endeavours, hardly did they know that: “Giving up has never been in my dictionary.” I fell but I still gathered the strength to stand on my feet. Not twice, not thrice, have I felt broken to uncountable pieces; trying to merge them back. Yet still I was left with a scar which takes a while to heal.
I learnt that not everyone is an ally. Some might smile on your face but hold an intense grudge on you in their hearts. Once you identify them, play safe. Be extra careful with the type-writer mouths,or the garbage tractors type; who pick and drop information from him to her, them to us, all sorts of stories, spicing them up to their heart’s content. Remember, if they talked about so and so in their absence, you will be the next on line once you walk away from your seat.
They said that I could not achieve much, that it is potential that I lack. Well, that gave me the extra zeal to explore more ideas trying to polish my imperfections. It was trial and error; testing one, two, three, a race with my subconscious mind, trying to instill it with some kind of push to drive me to my destination.
Well, today I tell you dear one, the failures you pass through in life are not the end of life. Everyone has a memory of their own. Challenges shall always be there. However, if you want to reach greater heights, you have to stay strong, consistent, focused and be a goal oriented personnel.
Are you ready to prove to the world that no matter how many criticisms they pose, you shall never give up?
